Here's what happened to the ONLY Cannondale to show up...MINE! 40+C first moto:

Gate drops...I get a HUGE holeshot and lead the entire race until last lap when lack of stamina and bad mud racing skills get the best of me. I lost a 20 second lead when I fell over in the mud and had troulbe getting up. 3 guys got by me and I got a 4th. 40+C second moto: Gate drops...Guess what? huge holeshot again! I lead the entire race until the 2nd to last lap when, what happens? I fall in the SAME mud hole as the last race. 2 guys pass me but I get up, hit the green button and off I go! I pass them again only to fall where? You guessed it...SAME mud hole. I end up with a 3rd, but ended overall with 2nd place trophy.

Day 2:

40+C first moto: Guess what? HUGE holeshot! Lead entire race with a 30 second lead, until the last lap when I flew off a jump and my shoulder popped out of the socket!!!!!!!!! I held on with my right arm and just tried to grip my left grip with my left hand enough to finish the race. I got passed 2 turns from the finish, but as I went down the hill toward the finish it popped back in! Really weak though! 2nd place. 40+ second moto: Hopped up on Ibuprofen, I blow the holeshot, but quickly blow by the guy on the YZF who barely beat me to the turn (later he told me there was NO way he was letting me go 4 for 4 in holeshots this weekend!) I again get huge lead for the first 3 laps, but the guy who passed me in moto one slowly crept up on me and passed me half way to the finish! 2nd place, for 2nd overall.

I guess "always a bridesmaid, never a bride!" LOL!
