Yep... another thumbs up!...this thing keeps getting better....(wish I would!)

Changes from previous ride:

Dealer did the FI change to 3%
Changed the Oil
did the coil retainer extension thing....
Set the clickers to "E" settings on forks and shock (was at X440 settings)
Thats it.

Wet, in the mid-40s...big puddles (western washington!)..but was a good ride...did about 26 miles is all on the Panoram.

1. Power: with the new settings, no slight hitch right off the bottom. Pulls with authority from idle until my feeble aging brain said STOP! Still no hit, just pulls cleaner and with more authority. Still linear...still very very sweeeeet!
2. Suspension. Well thanx Greenlantern...for the tip on the suspension settings mine were way off from what they recommend as a start point for the E. WOW...this suspension is worth the price of the bike alone...regardless of the other kewl stuff thats on it!...wow....Two friends that were with me today took her out for a spin...(one rides a new woods modded RM250 with the suspension really done up, and the other a very sweeet KTM 250MXC)...they both came back almost speechless about the suspension...they said it was like there were no tires on the bike...cause anything you went over...well you didnt feel a thing...like a cadilac...just smooooth...and I have to agree....the suspension is starting to settle down a bit...not so much cause of time, but because of rider weight ! Im about 215-220 before gear...so...I am testing this stuff good!...Leon was 100%...in some new nasty rutted rocked out single track...real real narrow...I pushed it pretty good playing catch up with my friends...(ooops...trail went left...I went right...lost lead!)...well...where I was still trained to cringe on the stuff coming up on the trail...getting ready for the dirt bike ejection system to toss me....I just charged...and the more I twisted that reostat...the smoother it got...

The boingers on this machine ROCK! in nasty stuff with the right clicks set in the suspension....almost spoooky...whoops and puddles...just lean the shoulders back a bit...and float....cant describe it....just aim at nasty junk and twist...it will all be good!

Estart...no issues all day...dont grab for the kickstarter anymore. No leaks, no drips, nothing...nothing loose nada...granted it was a short loop...but it was nasty...but a hooot....

I would appologize for raving about the bike...but I wont....it deserves it...

No negatives.....

Tom and Brian did have a few things bad to say though....they REALLY dont like the 'Ejecta' from the back end of this thing....they made mention of it a couple of times today....and...I found something that stops with more authority than the Brembos on my Husaberg....18" Fir Tree....yep...HR drilled it center...wow...what brakes...needs an airbag built into the cross bar pad?...maybe for '03?

...HR went up the tank (yes it left a mark)...boots up over the head...then jetisoned off the left side of the bike..and did my Gymnastics Team impression down the hill....flop flop flop..Brian said it was pretty kewl!..(thanks Brian!)

..nice thing about the FI...after I "could" pick it up....ouch...one touch of the Happy button.......and she lit...very nice...no flooding...nothing...no hot start....!..

Well.....one...and so far the only bad thing....and it is bad....

I have to wait through 5 days of work until I can ride it again....
