Waldon MX

Well we have completed two races so far in the NEMX series. Walden MX on the 6th. I was second into the first corner behind an expert. We ran a split gate. I held onto first for two laps but on the third lap I came up way too short on a step up into a double and landed on the front end hard. Got up, bike was still running and only three guys got by me. I managed to work my way back to third for the moto

Second moto, I had a great line going into the first turn but got a little gun shy and let a rider inside me. Had to slow down which cost me about 10 spots. Never do that again! I worked my way back to fifth, giving me fourth overall in my first Am race.

SouthWick

The second race was held yesterday at Southwick We had over 940 entries(normaly around 500)because an NESC race in NH was cancelled because of snow. A lot of those guys are very fast.

First moto, I jumped into the first turn, followed the leader and one guy slipped past me giving me third for the moto. Second moto I had a bad start, settled for mid pack then worked my way up. Managed an 11th, giving me 5th overall.

I think these guys have noticed the power of the Dale. I love hearing people talk about how they can't finish a moto or that they break all the time.
