Written by: PJ Crouch Date: March 29th, 2003 After a few months with the Cannibal the wife and I had to compromise. She was at odds with the front suspension, while well behaved for my weight and riding style, they were too stiff for her. One of my employees just bought a pair of works piggy back schocks. My wife liked the way his Suzuki behaved in chop with the stock shocks so I stole his stockers and mounted them on the Cannibal. Now there is peace in the home. She is not getting pummeled in small chop and I can still ride it after cranking up the preload. I also added some hole shots in the back, the same ones that come on the Moto, She feels they skate too much on the access roads from jawbone to dove springs but I like the way they slide predictably where the Carliles felt like they wanted to roll over. Finally I had the 03 speed map installed. The intention was to raise the rev limiter but as an added bonus the bike pulls alot harder than before. I ended up cutting the first cone out of the muffler in addition to removing the sparkarrestor screen. I like the way they sound like this it sounds like a Ducati kind of a deep growl rather than the bark of open mufflers. Still I have not had any problems with the quad I have not even had to take the plastic off other than to clean the air filter. Mufflerman
